We’ve Lost Power... Again
As some of you saw, we lost power on Saturday night and have been in the dark since. To be completely honest, this sucks.
This is the third time our main breaker has failed since we opened in 2023. We are working closely with 2000 Vine, Evergy, and our electricians to figure out why this keeps happening and to get it fixed for good. We have to remain temporarily closed while we wait for answers, but we plan to be back up and running this Wednesday evening upstairs in the taproom for Office Hours w/ Marcus Lewis.
When our power went out a few weeks ago, we immediately felt the love from Kansas City. Every dollar spent on a Vine Street product—whether it was a hoodie from our online store or a pint from a local bar—helped us tremendously through that down period.
We know that electricity powers our infrastructure, but it’s love that powers Vine Street Brewing Co. We ask for your ongoing support as we navigate these challenges. We are down, but certainly not out.
Support the Vision
If you want to support us directly while the doors are closed, you can grab a gift card, snag some new merch online, or grab your tickets now for Brass & Boujee Halloween on October 30th.
Where to Find Our Beer
Just because our lights are out doesn't mean you can't get a pour. Pull up to some of our favorite local spots supporting local beer:
Midtown & The Plaza
If you want to pair local beer with some of the best Italian comfort food in the city, Ragazza Food & Wine is the move. You can also grab a pint at The Dub or grab a slice and a pint at The Combine on Troost.
The Riverfront & Downtown
Right next to CPKC stadium, the massive new Two Birds One Stone beer garden is moving crazy volume of Jazzman Black Lager. If you’re downtown, Taps On Main and Hotel KC's Nighthawk have you covered.
The Crossroads
Grab a slice and a pint at Buffalo State Pizza Co., smash a burger at Cosmo Burger, or slide over to the legendary The Brick.
Waldo & Brookside
Looking to grab a pint down south? Cru, Lew's Grill & Bar, and the legendary Charlie Hooper's are pouring Vine Street. Need to stock the fridge at the house? Gomer's 103rd and Mike’s Wine & Spirits are fully loaded with cans.
Support the places that support local beer. See you Wednesday night for Office Hours.
