Silver Fox is the newest West Coast pilsner in the Vine Street Haircut Series, brewed in collaboration with Joel Goldberg. It joins Like That Box Fade Bro, Jerry Curl Drippin, and Roof Gone as part of our lineup of hop-forward beers, each one with its own story.

Joel is one of the most recognizable voices in Kansas City broadcasting. We got together, shot a real commercial, and built a beer that lands right where crisp meets hop-forward.

Jared Nels hits Vine Street on Sun Aug 23 with a genre-blending lane that moves through country, bluegrass, blues, and roots-rock without feeling boxed in. Expect a warm Sunday room, strong guitar work, and a set that stays close to the song from 3:00–6:00 pm.

When 18th & Vine links with the West Bottoms, the roots run deep.

We partnered up with our friends at Stockyards Brewing Co. for our newest release, Mycelium Connection. This isn't your standard taproom pour. We brewed a 6% Farmhouse Ale with real Blue Oyster, Enoki, and Chestnut mushrooms. It's earthy, complex, and totally off the map, but still drinks smooth enough for a long night at the bar.

The beer hits draft on Thursday, but Friday is the official can release party. Stockyards and Vine Street crews will be in the taproom pouring up, talking beer, and running the room.

Owen Pirch takes the stage in the Groove Room with guest artist Cadie Copeland and support from James Ogutu, Ben Tervort, and Jacob Bross. Three hours of live sound in the most intimate room in the building.

The Groove Room does what it does best: puts you close enough to feel the music move through the floor. No barrier between you and the stage. Just a room full of people who showed up because the lineup earned it.

Open Channel—the powerhouse quintet led by Kansas City trumpeter Nick Hmeljak—takes the patio at Vine Street Brewing for a single release show ahead of their debut album, Alive.
Hmeljak, a recent Charlotte Street Foundation resident, built Open Channel to explore the deep roots of Black American Music from the 1960s to today. Expect original compositions and select standards driven by collective improvisation—exhilarating, melancholic, and dynamic.
