Mycelium Connection: Bridging the West Bottoms and 18th & Vine

Kansas City is built on connection. The real ones happen below the surface.

That’s the energy behind Mycelium Connection, our newest collaboration with the crew over at Stockyards Brewing Co.. We wanted to bridge the West Bottoms and 18th & Vine, bringing the best of both neighborhoods under one roof.

When we sat down to build this, we knew we didn't want a standard taproom pour. We wanted to make something that pushes boundaries without losing the groove. The result? A 6% ABV Farmhouse Ale that gets a little weird in the best way possible. We brewed it with real Blue Oyster, Enoki, and Chestnut mushrooms. It’s earthy, layered, and totally off the map, but still drinks smooth enough for a long night at the bar.

The beer hits draft on Thursday, but we are throwing the official can release party this Friday, August 21st, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Vine Street. Both the Stockyards and Vine Street crews will be in the building pouring up and talking beer.

Free entry. Good energy. Come grab a 4-pack and share a pint with the brewers.

Pull up. Catch a vibe. Taste the connection.
