The Future of KC Music — A Musicians’ Plea Conversation

We’re kicking off something special at Vine Street Brewing Co. — a brand-new series designed to bring our community together in a way that’s real, relevant, and rooted in KC culture. Introducing the VSB Lunch & Learn, a weekly midday meetup where great food meets great conversation.

Our taproom has always been a gathering place. Now, we’re opening the doors a little earlier and creating space for deeper dialogue around the things that move Kansas City — music, entrepreneurship, community, creativity, and the future of our city.

And we’re starting strong.

Kansas City’s creative community is powerful — but we all know the challenges our musicians face every day. For our first Lunch & Learn, we’re hosting The Future of KC Music — A Musicians Plea Conversation, a candid dialogue on where we’re headed, the gaps we need to close, and what it takes to build a music ecosystem that can foster a thriving industry.

Hosted by Kemet Coleman, this session brings together voices from across KC’s music scene for a real, open conversation that anyone invested in the city’s culture should hear.

What your ticket includes

  • A full lunch

  • Reserved seating

  • A one-hour talk + Q&A

  • Access to take-home resources

  • First access to future Lunch & Learn announcements

Lunch options

Each Lunch & Learn will feature two meal choices:

  • A standard lunch

  • A vegan/allergy-friendly option (dairy-free, nut-free)

You’ll select your meal when you arrive — no forms, no hassle. At this time, we’re keeping the options simple and cannot customize beyond the two choices.

Why we’re doing this

Vine Street Brewing has always been more than a brewery — we’re a meeting point for culture, conversation, and community. The VSB Lunch & Learn series gives us a new way to connect with the people shaping Kansas City’s future, and a chance to spotlight topics that matter to all of us.

We hope you’ll pull up, grab a plate, and join us for the first of many inspiring sessions.
