Easter Egg Hunt for Kids & Crack the Code for Grown‑Ups at Vine Street

Easter at Vine Street is two hunts in one.

On Saturday, April 4 from 12–1 PM, we’re turning the back patio into a free Easter Egg Hunt just for kids while the taproom hosts a light Crack the Code game for grown‑ups.

Outside, we’ll have Easter eggs tucked around the patio and yard for kids to find, plus a simple system so little ones don’t get left out. Parents and guardians can post up with a drink, connect with neighbors, and watch the chaos in a good way.

Inside, adults can play Crack the Code – a quick, phone‑friendly Easter puzzle that starts when you scan a special QR code in the taproom. Follow the clues, crack the short code phrase, and bring it to the bar Easter weekend for a small reward.

A few quick notes:

  • Free, exclusively for kids. Bring your kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, or the young ones in your life for the egg hunt.

  • Time window: The kids’ hunt runs 12–1 PM. Please plan to arrive on time so kids can jump in together.

  • Crack the Code timing: The QR code and puzzle will be live in the taproom Easter weekend so adults can play when they stop by.

  • Location: Back patio and taproom at Vine Street Brewing, 2010 Vine Street in the historic 18th & Vine district.

Vine Street was built to be a front porch for Kansas City’s culture. That includes the next generation and the grown‑ups who bring them. Bring the kids, grab a drink, and let both sides of the family hunt.
