Celebrating Vine Street Brewing Co.'s First Anniversary

As we celebrate our first year at Vine Street Brewing Co., we reflect on an incredible journey and look forward to a bright future. We want to thank everyone who supported us during this milestone year. It's a huge achievement that we don’t take lightly, and we look forward to raising a glass with Kansas City for many years to come.

A Year in Review:

Looking back on the first year of Vine Street Brewing, I am deeply grateful for the support and embrace given by Kansas City. I take great pride in all the accomplishments made by our entire team, particularly the Beer Stars who are the foundation of our brand. Being part of such a vibrant beer community is truly an honor, and the future holds great promise not only for Vine Street Brewing but for the entire Kansas City beer scene. I've cherished meeting our patrons, building relationships with our regulars, and contributing to the growth of the 18th & Vine District.

- Annie McGinnis (Director of Operations / Co-owner)

This past year starting Vine Street has been one of the most rewarding projects I have ever worked on. Being able to dream, formulate, and craft a variety of beers has been extremely satisfying. I'm excited for year two to continue to grow our brewing team’s knowledge and to continue to create and innovate within the craft beer market.

- Elliott Ivory (Head Brewer / Co-founder)

Opening Vine Street Brewing Co. has been an incredible journey. The support from our families, our team, our customers, and the Kansas City community has made our dream a reality. Year one was just the beginning; year two is the sequel you don’t want to miss.

- Woodie Bonds Jr. (Sales Director / Co-founder)

From my perspective, seeing Vine Street Brewing Co. thrive in the heart of Kansas City’s historic 18th & Vine Jazz District is a dream come true. We are descendants of the same folks who invented beer thousands of years ago, and it feels like destiny to continue that legacy here. Our location ties us to the sacred soil, soaked in the rich history of jazz and Black culture, and it’s essential that we highlight and honor that heritage. The future is bright, and I look forward to seeing our brand grow nationally, creating a lasting impact and a legacy for future generations.

- Kemet Coleman (Co-founder and Director of Marketing & Experiences)

Looking Forward:

We’re excited about the future and its potential for Vine Street Brewing Co. We’re committed to continuing our journey of innovation, community engagement, and excellence in craft brewing. Thank you, Kansas City, for an amazing first year. Here’s to many more!

Thank you for being a part of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate more milestones with you.
