Vine Street and Crowns & Hops Celebrate Highly Anticipated Collaboration Brew
Kansas City, MO - May 2, 2024 - In a landmark collaboration, Vine Street Brewing Co. has teamed up with Inglewood, CA-based brewery Crowns & Hops, one of the most recognized Black-owned breweries in the United States, to introduce "One Pint At A Time," a Buckwheat Honey Blonde Ale. This new release results from the impactful film screening of "One Pint At A Time," a documentary that spotlights Black-owned breweries' contributions and challenges in the craft beer industry. The beer is available today at Vine Street Brewing Co. in both cans and draft, with a limited distribution to follow, with proceeds to benefit the American Jazz Museum, the Negroe Leagues Baseball Museum, and the National Black Brewers Association.
The "One Pint At A Time" initiative, facilitated by Beers With Nigel, Fredcasts, and Vine Street’s Annie McGinnis, celebrates culture and community, bringing together national Black breweries with local Kansas City breweries.
