Vine Street Brewing Co. Celebrates One-Year Anniversary with a "Hoppy Anniversary" Bash and Festival Announcement

Since opening our doors in June 30, 2023, we've been dedicated to creating a catalytic, artistic and inclusive space that honors Kansas City's rich cultural heritage. Our brewery is more than a place to enjoy great beer; it's a community hub where history, music, and craft beer intersect.

Announcing "The Big Three"

To celebrate our first anniversary, we are excited to roll out "The Big Three" announcements, kicking off Sunday, June 30, 2024:

1. Three Exclusive Anniversary Beers:

• Jewel Box Revue (Collaboration with The Big Rip Brewing Co.):

  • Style: Cold IPA | Alc/vol: 7%

  • This Cold IPA, brewed with lager yeast, delivers tropical vibes and a smooth finish. Packed with Newzilla, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, it’s a bold tribute to the legendary Jewel Box Revue and trailblazing drag king Stormé DeLarverie.

• Paper'd Up:

  • Style: Double IPA | Alc/vol: 7.5%

  • Loaded with Eukanot, Mandarina Bavaria, HBC 1019, and Amarillo hops, this Double IPA is all about juicy tropical fruit, zesty orange, and a hint of grassy goodness.

• Ameri'Kana (Collaboration with Art as Mentorship):

  • Style: Sour Ale with Mangos and Pineapples | Alc/vol: 5%

  • Ameri'Kana is a sour ale bursting with mango and pineapple flavors. Sweet, tart, and super crushable, it’s a perfect blend of fruit and funk inspired by our friends at Art as Mentorship.

2. Musical Lineup and Revised Hours:

- Sunday, June 30th:

- Golden Age Hip-Hop Set by Cquence | 3 PM - 6 PM

- Live Music by Rob Trib Trio | 6 PM - 9 PM

- We will be open from 12 PM to 9 PM with food provided by WingStand and Frios Gourmet Pops.

3. Hip-Hop's Hooray Festival Announcement:

- We’re hosting our first festival Hip-Hop's Hooray, founded by co-owner Woodie Bonds in 2018. This event celebrates the intersection of craft beer and hip-hop culture, featuring around thirty breweries and showcasing a different pillar of hip-hop music each hour. Guests at the birthday party can get early bird tickets for $50 (regular $65). More details for Hip-Hops will be release soon!
