Vine Street Brewing Co. Announces Hip-Hops Hooray! Midwest's First Hip-Hop Beer Festival

Kansas City, MO – Vine Street Brewing Co. is excited to announce Hip-Hops Hooray!, the first hip-hop beer festival in the Midwest, set to take place on October 25 & 26, 2024. This two-day event will be held across both buildings on the 2000 Vine campus, home to Vine Street Brewing Co. and the expansive 2-acre outdoor space. The Vine Street taproom will remain open throughout the festival, ensuring a continuous flow of craft beer and festivities.

Friday Night: Brass & Boujee (5:00 PM - 9:00 PM)

Join us for a night of big band grooves and spooky moves with Brass & Boujee! Dress in your finest Halloween attire for a costume competition with exciting prizes. Enjoy live music from Brass & Boujee, a 20-piece hip-hop big band that topped the Jazz Billboard in 2018. The evening will also feature a special panel discussion with industry experts.

Saturday: Hip-Hops Hooray! Beer Festival (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Dive into our hip-hop beer festival with over 25 national, regional, and local craft beer brands, including several Black-owned breweries. Each hour, a different pillar of hip-hop—MCing, DJing, breakdancing, graffiti, and knowledge—will be showcased, providing a rich cultural experience. Enjoy outdoor games, food vendors, and live music throughout the day.
